Could you imagine the High Holy Days without singing Avinu Malkeinu? How do the melodies of the High Holy Days impact our experience of the prayers? In this interactive workshop, we will sing some High Holy Day melodies and reflect on how they can not only transform the prayers, but also our lives.

The Slichot service is an intimate gathering on the Saturday evening prior to Rosh HaShanah. The service is designed to move participants to open their hearts, minds and voices in the final push towards making amends for the New Year. We will gather in the Beyt Knesset together with Rabbi Chaim to sing piyyutim (liturgical poems), reflect collectively and individually on some of the central themes of Slichot, and hopefully come away with new insights as we embark on a Season of Change. No need to bring anything except an open heart.
