While the High Holy Days are mentioned in the Torah portion Emor in the book of Leviticus, they aren't called Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur and Emor doesn't tell us much more than when they should be observed. So, how did we get from there to what we do today? This workshop will explore a variety of responses to that question to help us understand and craft meaningful ways to observe these Days of Awe.
