Why Donate to Congregation Etz Chayim?

Donations are a very important part of the congregation's funding, typically covering 12.5 % of our annual operating budget. Because of these donations, we can welcome everyone who wants to join the congregation, regardless of their ability to pay.  We are a resource to the community, holding our doors open so anyone who wants to can make an entry into liberal Jewish life or derive comfort from the knowledge and rituals of our tradition.

Giving to Etz Chayim fulfills the mitzvah of tzedakah, or righteous giving. Etz Chayim is a 501(c)3 non-profit, and contributions are tax deductible if you itemize deductions.
