In this four-session series, we go deeper in our understanding of systemic racism, using a variety of readings, recordings, interpersonal exercises, and open-hearted conversation. We will take a deeper look at white privilege, implicit bias, unconscious participation in racist systems, and the question of white privilege for white Jews. Finally, we will consider how Jewish teachings about teshuvah apply to our own anti-racist work as individuals, and about collective atonement for racism throughout American history. Registration required.

This is an ongoing, drop-in class that is open to everyone looking for a deeper, rational understanding of Torah. No Hebrew skills or Torah study experience are required.

Kabbalat Shabbat Service with Rabbi Chaim Koritzinsky. Shabbat evening services are held every Friday at 7:30 p.m. and last about an hour.
