Chagigah is a real grab bag of topics, including: why we bring kids to services when they don't know or care about what's going on, the story of how a rabbi became the most famous heretic in Jewish history, and other genders besides male and female (with more on this topic to come in the July 12 session). Join the new monthly virtual meditation group on the first Wednesday of the month at 2 pm. The first 45 min will include some teaching around a theme, a chant and a meditation. Afterwards we will have some time to share and connect. Come experience a variety of meditations and be part of a growing meditation community at Etz Chayim.

This is an ongoing, drop-in class that is open to everyone looking for a deeper, rational understanding of Torah. No Hebrew skills or Torah study experience are required.

We'll join Kol Emeth, Beth Am, Keddem, and Hausner for a night of communal studying. The featured program will be From Abraham and Ruth to WWII and Ukraine - Jews on the Move and the Torah that Sustains Us, beginning with Torah study, then personal immigration and refugee stories from several members of the community. A service and several breakout sessions will continue through the evening. More information will be available soon. We hope this will be a wonderful night of Torah, song, and being back together as a larger community.
