For children in Kindergarten and 1st Grade (and sometimes their grown-ups!) Parents and children explore and experience Jewish holidays, history, values, culture, prayer and more through many different avenues including stories, games, art, music and cooking.

Yossi Veissid, Kibbutz HaMa'apil resident artist, will share some of his incredible art with us as well as present a fascinating new exhibit (which he curates) that pairs Holocaust survivors with young, talented artists. Yossi is Rabbi Lila's husband.

Tikkun Ha’aretz (Healing the Earth) is Etz Chayim’s new climate action initiative. You can plug in by participating in one of our two community workshops in which we will learn about and discuss potential initiatives that we can implement as individuals and households. This is an ongoing, drop-in class that is open to everyone looking for a deeper, rational understanding of Torah. No Hebrew skills or Torah study experience are required.
