The Yiddish Choristers plan to sing again via Zoom. The group's virtual sing-alongs will rely on lead singers who know the songs well and can break them down for learners. Transliterated lyrics will be shown on the screen. Those replying in advance will receive the Zoom link on the morning of the sing-along.

In this monthly class, participants will check in about their own practice of anti-racism work and dive into learning and action on reparations (broadly). We will study contemporary writings and relevant Jewish texts, and we will research what local leaders of color would ask of us, and what other communities are doing, to repair long-standing racial injustices on the local, state, and national levels.

We will come together from diverse faith and spiritual traditions to stand in solidarity for the human rights of all people, locally and globally. In light of multiple hate messages and incidents in our local community, including some personally threatening individuals and community leaders, we will gather at First United Methodist Church on the Eve of World Human Rights Day to say NO to hate and YES to the dignity and worth of every human being. The gathering will be in-person with COVID safety requirements and also streamed via YouTube.
