Join Mitch on this long strange multimedia trip to learn Tanach together through the words of The Grateful Dead. We will explore songs such as “Ripple,” “Estimated Prophet,” “Brokedown Palace,” and “The Music Never Stopped".
Mitch Slomiak has worked as a consulting Chief Financial Officer for small companies for the past 25 years after two full-time stints. His now part-time practice affords him time to focus on his labors of love. Mitch served on the Etz Chayim Board for six years, two of those as President, and currently is Lay Co-Chair for Fifth Friday Shabbat services. He fell in love with the music of The Grateful Dead during his freshman year at the University of Pennsylvania.
