Congregation Etz Chayim

This is a monthly informal gathering of Etz women to be together and chat about what’s going on in our lives.

August book: Apeirogon, by Columba McCann. Rami and Bassam had been raised to hate each other. And yet, when they learn of each other’s stories, they recognize the loss that connects them. Together they attempt to use their grief as a weapon for peace.

Come learn how knitting could be a useful tool to help you manage day-to-day living. This talk will include a hands-on lesson on how to knit and purl.

This is an ongoing, drop-in class that is open to everyone looking for a deeper, rational understanding of Torah.

A casual conversation with Rabbi Chaim and other Etzniks beginning with a short teaching followed by the sharing of highlights, challenges, or reflections from the week.

Our virtual women's retreat will begin at 7:00 with a Women’s-only Candle Lighting. This session will end at about 7:20 to allow everyone to gather for the Shabbat service.

Shabbat evening services are held every Friday at 7:30 p.m. and last about an hour. Everyone is welcome to attend the service.

This class is open to everyone looking for a deeper understanding of Torah. No Hebrew skills or Torah study experience are required. The link for this class is available through our weekly Thursday newsletter. Not on our email list yet? Contact office@etzchayim.org to be added.

Shabbat morning services are held every Saturday at 10:00 am, and with Torah reading, last about two hours. Everyone is welcome to attend the service.
