The Etz Bookworms begin a new reading project, Inheritance, a memoir by Dani Shapiro. Sunday, August 4, at 4:30 pm What makes us who we are? What combination of memory, history, biology, experience, and that ineffable thing called the soul defines us? Inheritance is a book about secrets- secrets within families, kept out of shame or self-protectiveness; secrets we keep from one another in the name of Love. The book is available through the Jewish Community Library “Book Club in a Box” program. There is a box of books available in the Etz Chayim office. Check out a copy, read, and return.
