Etz Men’s "Shabbaton" Gathering

At Congregation Etz Chayim 

In each of the past two years we experimented with a new day-long retreat format and held wonderful Saturday outdoor gatherings at Etz Chayim. We will once again gather outdoors on this Shabbat day at Noon for an oneg schmooze that will include participants in Shabbat services. Then from 1pm-8pm we men will be together in small and large groups so that participants can make new friends and get to know each other more deeply. 

Our theme, “Where have you been? Where are you going?” will amplify the Torah themes for this weekend.

Our time together will include fun and games, music, a simple dinner, and even Havdallah.

This will be very low cost and participants should be vaccinated and have a mask available (just in case). The retreat is open to all Etz members 18 and older who identify as male, regardless of religious identity.

Men who want the full weekend experience can participate in Friday night services, Saturday morning Torah study and services, and the men's bagel brunch on Sunday morning!

The suggested registration fee is $36. If this amount is not feasible for you, please contribute what you are able. You can pay by card or charge the cost to your Etz Chayim account. If you have questions about payment, please contact Megan.
