Some of the greatest composers in the history of classical music wrote
‘Program Music’. What is Program music and what distinguishes it from
‘Absolute Music’?
In this four-part course we will listen to music by composers such as
Bach, Beethoven, Vivaldi, Debussy, Schubert, Mahler and discover the
mystery behind some of their most well-known works. We will also
explore some of the main musical forms that were practiced by
composers to write Program music; such as song-cycle, symphonic
poem and the suite. (Beginners & intermediate).

Free parking available
Single class: $25 per class
Pre-paid course: $20 per class (20% discount)
Registration: All courses require a minimum of 5 registered students. To register students should mail a check to: Dr. Nurit Jugend, 209 Durham St., Menlo Park, CA 94025.
