Immerse yourself in a multi-sensory experience based on the structure of a Passover Seder — where a text goes around the room to tell the story of a people. In The One Truthiness, the audience reads aloud to each other from a powerful and swirling text of real-world, current White and Black experiences while watching magical illustrations created before your eyes in illuminated wax on glass. The stories have been drawn from conversations, interviews, Facebook and Twitter posts. After reading other people’s words, add your own and compare perceptions in the real substance of the event — a post-show conversation, moderated by Shekhiynah Larks from Be’chol Lashon (JewsOfColor.org).
