A New Yiddish Dictionary -- What's up with that?

Dr. Harry Bochner, co-editor of "The Comprehensive Yiddish-English Dictionary" that was published early this year, will talk about the dictionary and answer these questions:

Why did the world need another Yiddish dictionary?

How did this dictionary come about?

What sorts of obscure word details come up in creating a dictionary?

Dr. Bochner will make a few signed dictionaries available for attendees to purchase for $40 after the presentation.

Members of the Yiddish Choristers of Congregation Etz Chayim will also sing a few Yiddish songs.
