Whenever there are five Fridays in a month, we like to do something different. Our next Fifth Friday Shabbat service on September 29 will be very special indeed.  Since it is the first night of Sukkot, we will meet in the Etz sukkah for a Shabbat service with songs about fire and water -- both of which were part of ancient rituals used to celebrate Sukkot.  We’re calling it “Fire and Rain Shabbat.” In addition to the James Taylor favorite, we’ll sing all kinds of songs on our theme such as Ring of Fire, Light my Fire, and Raindrops Keep Fall’n on My Head.  Hope you can join us on Sept. 29!
