Sukkot: Celebrate THE FESTIVAL All Together  Sunday , September 22, 11:30 am-1:00 pm

During this autumnal harvest festival our ancestors took to the roads for a week-long celebration at the nearest shrine or at the Temple in Jerusalem. They would bring the fruits of their labor to share and sacrifice. This year, the Etz community will bring fruits and vegetables grown in our gardens to share. This is a potluck with a "locally grown" theme, so try to come up with a dish to share that you can source  locally. Fruit  punch and sangria will feature local citrus. We will celebrate the start of the school year. We will celebrate our community, which is the greatest fruit of our labor.

The festivities will include some singing and learning from the shorashim kids and a variety of games for kids and adults of all ages. We expect music and dancing. Lulavs and etrogs will be shaken (but not stirred).
