Square Dancing this Sunday

April 22, 1:30 pm, for everyone

(including specials needs young adults)

Join handicapable callers Bob and Lisa Steele, founders of the San Bruno Pioneer Squares dance group, as they lead older teens and adults of all abilities in the fun and challenge of square dancing.

This group has met once before at Etz for a trial run and would now like to open it up to the community at large. Participants learn traditional square dance patterns at a pace that is manageable for all yet still requires focus and concentration. After the first session, all participants (including the middle-aged parents) reported that while the dancing required sustained mental effort, it was a natural way to be with friends, old and new, and cement social connections. Plus, it is a huge amount of fun.
