Saturday, January 12 is Rosh Chodesh -- a new moon and a new Jewish month.

We are celebrating late Shabbat afternoon (4:30-6:30PM) with:

- Singing

- A little science lesson (why does the moon change shape over the course of the month? Do your kids know?)

- Pot-luck vegetarian dinner

- Baking moon-shaped cookies (with help from our terrific teenage madrichim)

- Some time for adults to talk about cycles and renewal

- Havdalah

It would be helpful if you register below, and either bring a dish to share or contribute $4/person and we'll buy your share for you.
