Shalom Bayit Outreach Coordinator Amalia Bob-Waksberg will speak from the bimah during Shabbat services on December 12. Shalom Bayit, the Bay Area’s center for domestic violence prevention and response within the Jewish community, is holding their thirteenth annual domestic violence sermon campaign, “Shabbat Shalom: A Sabbatical from Domestic Violence”. Throughout the month of Kislev, Shalom Bayit is calling upon members of the Jewish community to focus on preventing all physical, verbal and emotional abuse of family members and intimate partners.
