The Adult Learning Committee invites you to join Rabbi Ilana Goldhaber-Gordon for Shabbat afternoon reflection and inspiration. Rabbi Ilana is a gifted teacher, weaving together storytelling with a deep knowledge of Torah and Jewish tradition, and a keen understanding of the issues facing us in our modern world. On November 15th, our topic will be Faith and Hope. Hope is a powerful force that has held our people aloft through very dark times. Historically, Jewish hope emerged from faith. What does faith look like today, in our secular world? And how can we cultivate hope? 4-5:45pm. In-person or on zoom.
