This past year has been a year of profound broken-ness. Our people, our world, our spirits, our planet. We are exhausted, scared, anxious and in deep need of healing. As we enter the new year, let us focus on ways to heal our fractured world and ourselves. As we navigate current spiritual fractures and the aftermath of October 7, it is important to draw from the experiences of past fractures in the Jewish spiritual world, including historical traumas such as the destruction of the Temples, expulsions, pogroms, and the Holocaust.
