The Jewish month of Elul precedes Rosh 

Hashanah and all the fall holy days that follow. Have you ever arrived at the start of Rosh Hashanah and have not had time to reflect on the past year until that moment?

During Elul we can begin to prepare our heart, soul and mind for the High Holy Days.  During this class we will took at some texts that can help us focus, we will sing a few songs, and we will have time to reflect both privately and in a group of how we might want to use the time from mid-August until the start of Rosh Hashanah on September 13.
