Neshama Women's Retreat (offsite)

Friday, July 17, 2015 1 Av 5775

5:00 PM - 1:00 PM 1 day after

In the Torah portion for this weekend, Matot/Mas’ei, Moses used the word vayisu, “and they journeyed,” to catalog each of the 42 encampments of the Israelite wanderings in the desert. Like our ancestors, we each set out on many journeys over the course of our lives.

Join us as we explore and learn in community while we map the experiences of our lives. Come for a restful weekend and take stock of where you are now. You'll have the opportunity to meet new women and reconnect with friends; to sing and pray; to study and learn; to laugh and dance. There is time for quiet and time to leisurely sit with friends.  This year's retreat will take place at the Presentation Center, located just off HIghway 17 in Los Gatos. The center has beautiful wooded grounds, a newly remodeled pool and labyrinth, and quality vegetarian and fish meals.  Our rooms are in a series of cottages, many with sitting areas and forest views. Our Scholar-in-Residence will be Chai Levy, an experienced congregational rabbi, musician and dancer, who will lead us in prayer, singing, study, and meditation.

Don't be disappointed - register early to assure yourself a place in this popular program (limited to 36 participants).  Registration is open to members now.  Prices will go up and registration will open to non-members beginning May 15th if spaces remain.  The Congregation never wants money to be a barrier to full participation in our community.  If you would like to attend but feel that you can't afford the full cost, please contact our executive director, Ellen Bob, to make alternative arrangements.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
