Neshama Women's Retreat (offsite)
Saturday, August 16, 2014 • 20 Av 5774
8:00 AM - 11:55 PMThe word neshama refers to "soul" or "spirit", but also "breath". The Neshama Women's Retreat is a restorative weekend when you can get away and take a breather. You'll have the opportunity to meet new women and reconnect with others; to sing and pray; to learn about yourself and about Judaism; to walk and hike; to laugh and dance. There is time for quiet and time to leisurely sit with friends. This year's retreat will take place at the Redwood Glen Conference Center, under the redwoods in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our Scholar-in-Residence will be Abra Greenspan, Director of Learning at Etz.
Don't be disappointed - register early to assure yourself a place in this popular program (limited to 36 participants). Registration is open to both members and non-members. The Congregation never wants money to be a barrier to full participation in our community. If you would like to attend but feel that you can't afford the full cost, please contact our executive director, Ellen Bob, to make alternative arrangements, but hurry - there are only a few places remaining.
