Life, Death and What Comes in Between: Jewish Perspectives on End of Life Decision Making with Laura Burns, LCSW

Sunday, September 26, 2021 20 Tishrei 5782

1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

During the High Holy Days, our attention turns inward toward reflection, repentance, and our own mortality. With this post-High Holy Day frame of mind and as we find ourselves dwelling in impermanent and temporary shelters, it seems only fitting to continue thinking about what comes next and how we can prepare ourselves, our loved ones and our medical support teams to ensure that what comes next aligns with our values and desires. We hope you can join us as we explore what Jewish values teach us about planning for our life and preparing for our death. Laura Burns is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works in medical social work and is experienced in Life Care Planning. Everyone is welcome regardless of age, illnesses or previous experience with this topic to attend.
