Jeremy Ben-Ami, Founder and President, J Street, will speak on A Critical Juncture for Democracy: Israel, the U.S, and the American Jewish community - the ever-changing relationship.

We are at an inflection point in both Israel and the US. Midterms are around the corner with our Democracy at stake, Israel is heading to its fifth election in less than four years and antisemitism is on the rise. The question naturally arises —“what can our community do to address these challenges and fulfill our moral obligation to tikkun olam?”

J Street describes itself as a political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans. The organization works to promote US policies that embody deeply-held Jewish and democratic values and that help secure the State of Israel as a democratic homeland for the Jewish people. This event is the first in a series of presentations with a range of perspectives on Israel today.
