The first session of our Sephardi/ Mizrachi experience series will be an overview of the centuries of continuous Jewish life in the Iberian Peninsula and Babylonia (present day Iraq). We will explore how Jews came to settle these areas, how we thrived, cultural and religious themes, important dates and figures, and when and why those communities ceased to exist.
