Hebrew Chanting: Teshuvah (Double Tree)
Monday, September 26, 2016 • 23 Elul 5776
7:45 PM - 8:45 PMTeshuvah, Let Us Turn, Return and Be Turned Through the Power of Hebrew Chant
Chanting is not only fun, it also can be a powerful tool for spiritual growth and change. And everyone can do it, even if you can’t sing. So, in preparation for the High Holy days, or even if you are just curious and want to have some fun, join us for the first monthly chant group. We will be introducing chants to deepen your spiritual work and uplift your soul. The leaders will have just returned from a weekend with Rabbi Shefa Gold and will share the highlights with you.
Leaders
Lynn Levine is a graduate of Rabbi Shefa Gold’s two year chant leader training program and has used chant as a daily spiritual practice for over 5 years. Laurie Fischer loves signing and chanting of all kinds.
