From Solo, Ensemble to Orchestral Music (3 classes)
Have you ever wondered what is the difference between music composed for a solo instrument versus an ensemble, orchestra or choir? Being familiar with the most common combination of instruments that were used by composers throughout music history is extremely important in understanding a musical composition.
In this course we will listen to music recordings by leading composers, explore the qualities in sound that each one of these combination of instruments offer, and discuss in what ways does a solo instrument sound differently from a string quartet, ensemble, concerto, symphony or choir. (Beginners & intermediate)

Free parking available
Single class: $25 per class
Pre-paid course: $20 per class (20% discount)
Registration: All courses require a minimum of 5 registered students. To register students should mail a check to: Dr. Nurit Jugend, 209 Durham St., Menlo Park, CA 94025.
