While there have been challenges, my childhood was filled with many positive experiences and I developed a strong Jewish identity. Join me as I share my journey of growing up Jewish in Germany from 1979 until my move to the USA in 1996. I'll discuss the highs and lows, and provide an honest perspective on my experiences. Ilan Hornstein has been a member of Etz for nearly two years, alongside his wife Wendy and their three daughters, Aviva, Sivan, and Dalia. Recently, Aviva became Bat Mitzvah at Etz. Ilan and his family have been residents of Menlo Park since 2008.
