Nature is everywhere, even in the weeds growing in the cracks in the sidewalk. Inspired by the Torah verse “You shall walk through the land, the length and the breadth of it.” (Exodus 13:17), I find that I become whole in nature. Bird-watching and listening is part of that experience and I love to discover what the birds around us might teach me next. I look forward to sharing some of what I've learned from and about the birds near us.
Aaron has been an Etznik since 2013. He is a member of the Etz Board of Directors. He was chair of the Adult Learning Committee for five years until just recently. He is an occasional lay teacher at Torah Study, and he is coordinator of the Etz Bookworms.
