The New York Times called 2015 "The Year we Obsessed Over Identity." Rachel Dolezol and Caitlyn Jenner have publicly challenged inherited notions of identity. At the same time, the American Jewish community is having an identity crisis of its own.
Celebrating the publication of his first book, Hybrid Judaism: Irving Greenberg, Encounter, and the Changing Nature of American Jewish Identity, Rabbi Darren Kleinberg, Ph.D. will discuss the shifting tides of identity within the American Jewish community and beyond.
