Exploring Our Journeys
October 27 - October 29
Come join other Etz men for a fun and restorative autumn weekend. Make new friends; strengthen the friendships you have. Reflect and connect with others in a safe space. Play outdoors, take a nap, commune with nature. Return feeling refreshed and more connected to your Etz community.
This year’s retreat site is Monte Toyon, a camp and conference center secluded among coastal redwoods in Aptos, just inland from Monterey Bay south of Santa Cruz. We’ll be staying in Cary Lodge, two men to a room. All meals are included from Friday Shabbat dinner through Sunday lunch.
Our focus will be on our journeys as men. Like our fore-bearer Abraham, we’re each on a series of journeys through life—physical, geographic, emotional, psychological, cultural, spiritual. We’ll explore both our common and individual experiences through this lens over our two days together.
Don't be disappointed - register early to assure yourself a place in this popular program. The Congregation never wants money to be a barrier to full participation in our community. If you would like to attend but feel that you can't afford the full cost, please contact our executive director, Ellen Bob, to make alternative arrangements.
Wynn Hausser, Clyde Mann, Martin Griss, David Helfinstein, Ron Shipper, Jason Feinsmith, Dennis Briskin, Larry Levine and Jonathan Salzedo are organizing the retreat.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
