Third Annual Men's Retreat

The Etz Men’s Retreat will enable greater connection with men at Etz and a sharing of Jewish identity and spiritual experience among male adult members of Etz Chayim. This is an opportunity to establish and deepen friendships with men in the Etz community, and have fun together.

Our retreat will take place at the Point Montara Lighthouse Hostel. Imagine the dramatic sound of the crashing waves as we enjoy community amongst the rugged beauty of Montara Beach. Pearched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific, the historic hostel is set against the dramatic and breathtaking scenery of the California coast. Just 25 miles south of San Francisco, and a 45 minute drive from Etz, the hostel is an idyllic location for our retreat.

Our reserved space is hostel style, with most rooms having bunk beds (linens provided) and shared bathrooms. To reduce hassles with food and allow us to focus on our event, we're planning on having most meals catered.

Last year's retreat was a great success with 30 men attending and building a strong sense of community!

Don't be disappointed - register early to assure yourself a place in this popular program.  The Congregation never wants money to be a barrier to full participation in our community.  If you would like to attend but feel that you can't afford the full cost, please contact our executive director, Ellen Bob, to make alternative arrangements.
