Rabbi Chaim and Pastor Danielle will walk us through a teaching on the practice of Counting the Omer as a transition from liberation to law and responsibility, including the spiritual themes of passage. Then we will spend time reflecting and processing these teachings in light of what has happened in our nation since we last met, with a time to reflect, mourn, and think ahead to what we can do together as a beloved community.  On March 16th, our congregations came together to understand justice in our nation via the lens of Pesach, Resurrection Sunday and the story of liberation from the narrow space told in Exodus and the Gospels. We discussed what Jews and Christians were liberated from but not what we were liberated to.  The long road towards freedom continues...
