The focus of Etz Israel Connections Group (EICG) is to develop meaningful connections between the Etz Community and Israel by exploring the many voices and cultural elements of Israeli Society.

Director Avi Nesher tells the story of two women who have rebelled against their upbringing - one choosing the comfort of Orthodoxy, the other the freedom of a pagan feminist cult - and their families’ responses. The movie highlights the tension between ultra-Orthodox and secular, the unfolding of complex family dynamics, and the search for spirituality and love. It is wonderfully directed and acted, and filmed in a variety of beautiful Jerusalem settings. Caution: some scenes may be too intense for pre-teen children
