Chag haBanot - Festival of Daughters December 21 10:00 am - Noon Chag ha Banot or Eid il Banaat (Festival of Daughters) has been celebrated on Rosh Chodesh Tevet by Jewish women from the Middle East and North Africa for many years. The day is focused on ceremonial gatherings of girls and women with symbolic rituals, sweet foods, and traditional songs and dancing. It brings together generations of women and girls for a celebration of Jewish heroines throughout history. Come learn about some of the most remarkable Mizrachi women of all time. Join us for a multi-generational celebration of women and girls at Etz Chayim on Sunday December 21 from 10:00 am - Noon. Come alone or bring your daughters, mothers, grandmothers, sisters and aunts.
