Come camping with us at Anthony Chabot Regional Park!

Anthony Chabot is a beautiful park 35 miles from Palo Alto, with forests for hiking, a lake for boating, and our own private group campsite.  We'll roast hot-dogs (and veggie dogs) before Shabbat starts...sing Shabbat songs to the stars...hike together through the woods...play games of tag (for the kids, and the kids-at-heart)...pray together in the outdoors.

If you are new to camping, we'll help connect you with a tent and a sleeping bag.  If you are a veteran camper, you already know the pleasure of waking up to the smell of the outdoor morning air.  What better place to be on Shabbat?

The camping trip will be Friday evening, June 15, through Sunday morning, June 17.  For those who wish to stick around on Sunday for more hiking or boating, there's plenty to do; but it's no problem to be back in Palo Alto for afternoon activities on Sunday.  Etz Chayim will provide dinner Friday night.  Other meals will be done pot-luck, but we will organize it all to make it easy.  The cost (to cover the campsite and Friday dinner) is $30/adult -- kids under 18 are free.
