Afternoon Torah Study (Library)
Saturday, May 26, 2018 • 12 Sivan 5778
1:00 PM - 3:00 PMAfternoon Torah Study of the Traditional Yom Kippur Morning Portion (Leviticus 16:1-34; Numbers: 29:7-11)
Saturday, May 26, 1:00 -3:00 pm.
Everyone who wants to spend a couple hours of the Shabbat afternoon learning a little together. No Hebrew or previous Torah study required, although we would welcome Hebrew readers to study with us. Rabbi Chaim challenged us to learn a little more about why part of this portion this might have been chosen for Yom Kippur morning and how studying it might inform our Yom Kippur practice. So we decided to take up the challenge.
