A Progressive Perspective on the U.S.- Israel Relationship (Library)
Friday, February 3, 2017 • 7 Shevat 5777
8:30 PM - 10:00 PMA Progressive Perspective on the U.S.-Israel Relationship
Join us for a panel discussion of alumni of the Pacific Northwest Progressive Outreach Mission to Israel. Moderated by Rabbi Chaim, the panel will include Campbell Mayor Jason Baker, Mountain View Mayor Chris Clark, Communications Consultant Leah Pimental, and Community College Trustee Gilbert Wong. Conversation will include what drew them to Israel, what they learned there, and why they engage in Israel advocacy.
This program is brought to us by AIPAC. The Etz Chayim community welcomes open, respectful dialogue regarding divergent positions about Israel and does not endorse any particular organization or position. This is an opportunity to learn about AIPAC’s perspective on the U.S.-Israel relationship and how this bipartisan advocacy organization, which works with both Democrats and Republicans, goes about its work.
