7:30 PM - 9:00 PMBeyt KnessetThe most beloved popular songs from the 1920’s-1950’s often are thought of as “The Great American Songbook” – jazz standards recorded by singing greats such as Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. So many of these enduring tunes were written by Jews: George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Jule Stine, among many others. We’ll celebrate this timeless music at our next Fifth Friday Shabbat -- a special service with a musical theme that we plan whenever there are five Fridays in a month. Please join us on April 30th and croon along.
