Filmmaker Michal Aviad depicts an everyday Israeli family living in modern Tel Aviv. Orna returns to the workforce to help her husband, who is struggling to start his own restaurant. Her acumen enables her to become a rising star in the workplace while struggling to balance the demands of her homelife. Unfortunately, as her professional role expands so do the predatory actions of her boss. A culminating sexual assault shatters Orna’s world and leaves her struggling with a sense of culpability that is all too common for women in her situation. Ultimately, her force of character and her wit enable her to pull her life back together. The acting is superb and Michal Aviad’s skills as a documentarian shine through in her portrayal of this Israeli “me-too” experience. Caution: description of forced sex
