This foundational program builds community among families with children in kindergarten and first grade.  Etz Chayim parents of older children frequently remark on the lasting family-to-family connections forged when they were in Midor together.  Midor meets on Sunday mornings. Some sessions include parent-child learning experiences and a parent-only discussion facilitated by one of the participants on the topic/theme of the day. Other sessions are for students only.   In Midor, families explore and experience Jewish holidays, history, values, culture, Israel, prayer  through stories, games, art, dance,music, food, cooking and more.  Hebrew vocabulary is taught through songs, games, movement, prayer and blessings.

Midor families also share two Friday night Shabbat dinner and one Havdalah/Saturday evening dinner experience.

Tuition: $925 for Etz Chayim members, $1125 for all others

Midor meets from 9:30 to noon on Sundays.
