Prepare to be surprised by the Talmud! This ancient text, written by our Rabbis nearly 2,000 years ago, is filled with stories that still resonate with us today. You'll find inspiring, thought and heart provoking tales of love, jealousy, pride, competition, shaming, kindness, courage, relationships, and more.We will go on an interactive journey through some Talmud: we will explore some stories together and discuss their implications for our lives today.

In this afternoon, we will explore some of these traditions, reflect on how they might support and inspire us, craft our own words, maps, or amulets, and celebrate the joy of spending time together in a place we all call home. We are delighted that Abra Greenspan will be our guide for the afternoon. Join us for a potluck lunch after services at 12:15 pm. The program starts at 1:15 pm and ends with at 5:00 pm with an optional reception. We will learn, sing, explore, create, and laugh together. Registration for the afternoon Shabbaton program is $18.
