We are hosting a very special day of learning and fun focused on individual action in response to climate change. Hineini, "Here I am" is a phrase that appears multiple times in the Torah. What does it mean for each of us to respond, "Here I am, a Jew in the 21st century?" For grades 7-8.

This is an ongoing, drop-in class that is open to everyone looking for a deeper, rational understanding of Torah. No Hebrew skills or Torah study experience are required.

In this monthly class, participants will check in about their own practice of anti-racism work and dive into learning and action on reparations (broadly). We will study contemporary writings and relevant Jewish texts, and we will research what local leaders of color would ask of us, and what other communities are doing, to repair long-standing racial injustices on the local, state, and national levels.
