First Saturday every month at 10 am

This is a small lay led service for those wishing an alternative to the larger, faster-paced traditional Etz Chayim service. The service includes silence and spaciousness so that we can have more time with each individual prayer and be more aware of what is stirring in us. We focus on fewer prayers and most are reduced to a phrase that contains their essence, while we follow the basic service structure for Shabbat. The prayers are chanted and sung to some familiar and some new melodies.  This service includes contemplative Torah study based on a portion of the weekly parasha and concludes with a healing prayer and kaddish.
