For some people, the rhythm of Jewish life is defined by the succession
of holy days: Shabbat each week, and holidays and festivals that
punctuate the various seasons and commemorate historical events of the
Jewish people.
For all of us, however, there is a "meta" rhythm that brings Jewish
practice to the important milestones of our lives: the series of Life
Cycle events and our Jewish ways of observing them.
