"Bar/t" Mitzvah is how we at Etz Chayim refer to a Bar Mitzvah or Bat Mitzvah; literally a "Son" or "Daughter" of the Commandments.

A person "becomes a Bar/t Mitzvah."

Becoming Bar or Bat Mitzvah means that a person is now old enough to be responsible for doing mitzvot (the commandments of Judaism) as an adult.
